POSITION DESCRIPTION
Job purpose
- Build corporate reputation of Bridgestone EMIA and its affiliates through a robust content strategy
- Oversee the development and execution of our company and product content and related communication projects
- Responsible for all aspects of content management and creation internally and externally to drive the image of the company and employee engagement through engaging, visual and focused storytelling
- Take on project management for smaller projects that are mainly content related
- Manage relationships with supporting agencies, freelancers and contractors
CONTENT STRATEGY AND PLANNING
- Develop a content strategy aligned with the company’s strategy and the selected audiences
- Explore and develop digital channels based on audience needs and presence
- Define KPIs to measure the effectiveness of the strategy, analyse results and adapt plans
- Monitor and analyse content performance using analytics to identify trends, optimise engagement and adapt plans
- Set up campaign-based editorial calendar
- Engage regional teams in the content to amplify results
- Manage the editorial process with all internal stakeholders, actively seeking feedback to optimise
- KPI: Optimal channels mix, aligned cross-channel editorial calendar, full internal alignment on strategy
CONTENT CREATION
- Create high-quality and engaging content throughout all internal and external channels
- Engage with subject matter expertise to develop, explore and create new content
- Take charge of the press release creation process including stakeholder alignment
- Deliver LinkedIn calendar
- Manage assets and review where necessary including corporate presentations, fact sheets and BSEMIA digital media library.
- Own the internal content creation process including intranet, digital signage and newsletters
- Create engaging copy and audio-visual content including visual assets, presentation materials, video and podcasts
- Explore new tools to optimise the content creation process
- KPI: Delivery of high quality and engaging content which is factually correct and in line with Bridgestone brand guidelines, style and strategy. Optimal audience engagement; reach, tone and impact
PROJECT MANAGEMENT
- Lead the successful execution of smaller projects including minor product launches and internal communication campaigns
- Develop timelines, briefings and budgets needed to bring the project to a successful and timely completion.
- Conduct thorough project review sessions to share results with stakeholders and capture learnings for future initiatives.
- Coordinate project meetings and manage stakeholders to drive successful delivery
- Collaborate with cross-functional and international teams ensuring clear understanding of the projects, deliverables and expectations in line with communications governance
- Ensure efficient utiliation of resources, including managing freelance or external contractors when necessary
- KPI: Qualitative delivery of projects on time and within budget
AGENCY MANAGEMENT
- Provide clear briefings to the agency to ensure successful project delivery
- Ensure efficient utilisation of resources, including managing freelance or external contractors when necessary
- Provide tight budget management ensure an optimal use of funds
- Ensure project are delivered on time and within budget
- Conduct regular evaluations
- KPI: Constructive relationships with agencies, delivery on time and within budget
Required capabilities & experience
- Education: Bachelor or Masters degree in “Communications”, marketing, journalism or equivalent experience
- Industry experience: Public Affairs and Communications / Automotive are a bonus but not a must
- Professional experience: Proven experience as a copywriter, content manager or similar role
- Language capabilities: English native speaker or excellent level required (writing skills), other major European language is an extra asset
- Service mindset to internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent writing and editing skills
- Working knowledge of graphic design and video editing tools
- Creativity and ability to develop engaging and innovative content
- Inquisitive mind-set
- Meticulous eye for detail
- Excellent project management skills
- Knowledge of analytics and content measurement tools
