For our client, a major player in the automotive sector, we are currently looking for a Collections Officer in their office in Brussels:
Responsibilities:
Manage the collections process for outstanding payments from customers

Contact customers via phone, email, or mail to collect overdue payments and resolve any payment disputes.Monitor and analyze customer accounts to identify delinquent payments and take appropriate actions.
Collaborate with internal teams, such as sales and customer service, to gather information and resolve collection issues.
Negotiate payment plans and terms with customers experiencing financial difficulties, while adhering to company policies.
Investigate and resolve discrepancies or billing issues related to customer accounts.
Prepare regular reports on collection activities, payment status, and collection trends for management review.
Stay updated on relevant industry regulations and compliance requirements related to collections.
Required profile:
Proficiency in both French and Dutch languages is essential.
Previous experience in collections or accounts receivable, preferably in the automotive sector.
Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers.
Knowledge of automotive industry payment practices and processes.
Familiarity with relevant legal and regulatory requirements related to debt collection in the automotive sector.
Excellent problem solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
Proficient in using accounting or customer relationship management (CRM) software.
