Your new role
- Installing, configuring, and maintaining servers using the Red Hat Enterprise Linux operating system. Your advanced knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) will be crucial in ensuring smooth operations.
- Configuring and maintaining successful backups and patching of customer Linux servers. You will play a key role in keeping the infrastructure secure and up to date.
- Monitoring and maintaining the Linux servers managed for customers, including performance monitoring and optimization. This will involve proactive troubleshooting and ensuring optimal server performance.
- Handling incidents and service requests in accordance with internal procedures and processes, providing timely and efficient resolutions to customer issues.
- Implementing projects for customers within the negotiated scope, considering technical possibilities, and adhering to agreed milestones and deadlines. Your expertise will be crucial in delivering successful projects.
Your profile
- Fluent in English, Dutch, and/or French
- Master or Bachelor in IT
- Client-oriented, organized, and detail-oriented
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stress
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and multitasking abilities
- Skilled in creating and enhancing documentation and processes
- Technical knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux, automation tools, ITIL concepts, scripting languages, MySQL, Apache, virtualization platforms
